Uncle Bill from the Wurundjeri Tribe Land and Compensation and Cultural Heritage Council will start the event with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony.Pastor Tony Riches from the Melbourne Indigenous Church and Tony Le-Nguyen from the Quang Minh Buddhist Temple will share their perspectives on how their faith communities have contributed to the joint process of healing and reconciliation between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people,
This will be followed by a round table discussion looking at ways faith communities can contribute in terms of healing, reconciliation and recognition.
