Glen Eira City Council's Foundation for Youth Excellence program recognises young people who have achieved excellence in fields of:
creative and performing arts;
education;
leadership; or
sport.
Grants are given out on a quarterly basis and awarded to young people, to help them achieve further success in their chosen field.
What is excellence
Excellence is about striving to reach the highest level in your chosen field or endeavour.Who can apply
Young people between 10 and 25 years (inclusive), living in our city who are competing or performing at a state, national or international level in creative and performing arts, education, leadership or sport activities.How to apply
Applicants need to complete an application form and include a letter of selection from supporting club, society, organising body or education institution. Supporting evidence, including references and letters of support, need to be attached to your application form.Closing dates
The Foundation Committee assesses applications quarterly each year.Closing dates are:
3rd Quarter – 31 July
4th Quarter – 31 October
