Exploring the interplay between Faith and Society, two all-embracing realms of our existence in the modern context of Australia today.
Times of joint scripture study, prayer, hearing about the life experiences and faith journeys of others, and sharing our own particular interests. All of this will be around living together and sharing meals over a 30 hour period.Organisers are currently compiling a detailed program.
Inclusions: Meals will be vegetarian and conform to Halal requirements. Strict Kosher food will be arranged for those who require it.
Accomodation: Retreat, Engagement and Overnight Stay. Spaces limited. St Paul’s provides 32 beds in double rooms. If single room accommodation is required, this will be provided at the Janssen Centre in Boronia 15 minutes drive away. Alternatively, this year we will be including participants who return home overnight,.
Considerations:
Full program attendance at conference is a requirement for participation.
Please understand that registration of interest is not a guarantee of final selection to participate.
Several considerations will govern final selection of participants:
- Presenters need to be selected from among participants.
- A reasonable balance between all three faith communities will be attempted
- Balance between young and old, male and female will also be kept in mind.
