THWO | CALLING | First Nations storytellers for First Stories Festival 2022 | applications close 29 October 2021

Across February and March of 2022, Theatre Works will present the inaugural First Stories Festival - a Deadly new writers festival for First Nations storytellers.

Proudly delivered #ByMob4Mob, who are currently seeking expressions of interest from First Nations and Torres Strait Islander participants, with applications open until 29 October 2021.

The week-long program aims to empower emerging writers and storytellers to find their voice in their own way. First Nations peeps, writers/creators are invited to make work that celebrates cultural diversity and inclusivity. Themes of rejuvenation, inspiration and uninhibited freedom are at the heart of this festival.  

Applications will only be accepted from First Nations and Torres Strait Islander persons.
Shortlisted applicants will be Interviewed either face-to-face or via Zoom in November. 
Successful applicants will be notified in the second week of November.
