I would like to start by saying thank you!
Community events are the heart of our vibrant multicultural society, bringing people together to celebrate our shared values, traditions, and cultures. These events are made possible through the collective efforts of government support, local businesses, and the countless volunteers who contribute their time, skills, and in-kind donations. It's a true testament to the strength and unity of our diverse communities.
Today, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the businesses that play a crucial role in making these events a reality. While government funding is vital, it's the additional support from local businesses that allows our festivals and community gatherings to thrive. These businesses not only contribute financially but also bring their unique cultural perspectives and a commitment to fostering inclusion and diversity.
I would like to especially recognise our Partner Sponsors—multicultural businesses that have supported our mission: LanguageLoop, Foot Solutions, StoneMart, My Holistic Care, LouveElite, and Segmento. Their contributions not only sustain our events but also demonstrate the vital role multiculturalism plays in Australia’s business landscape—creating jobs and giving back to the community.
I would also like to extend special recognition to the Commonwealth Bank and SBS, whose support as corporate sponsors highlights their commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion. Their backing underscores the positive impact that businesses can have on promoting multiculturalism across Australia.
Multiculturalism is not just about celebrating diversity; it's about recognising the invaluable contributions that diverse communities make to our country. Through the lens of business and with their support, many community organisations are able to proudly celebrate culture, history and the arts, creating opportunities for connection, understand and mutual respect.
Thank you to all our sponsors for your unwavering support and for believing in the power of community.
Warm regards,
Viv Nguyen, Chairperson
