[Edited extract from public address]

National Homelessness Week is a chance to help people better understand homelessness, challenge misconceptions, share what works to address the issue, and highlight the experiences of local people who have lived through it.

From Monday 3-Sunday 9 August 2026, City of Port Phillip is offering free activities at St Kilda Library to help educate the community and encourage open and informed conversations.

We want to inspire everyone to play a part in creating a fairer, more inclusive society, where all people have access to safe and secure housing.
