Booker Prize longlist

Our reading lists just got a little longer! The 2026 Booker Prize longlist has dropped, highlighting outstanding fiction from across the globe.

The Shadow of the Object and The Things We Never Say are just two of the books on the 2026 Booker Prize longlist

Thirteen novels spanning genres including literary fiction, satire, dystopian sci-fi, historical fiction and surrealism. Authors representing seven countries, including former winners Marlon James and Douglas Stuart, alongside three debut novelists.
