Commemorating 2021 theme for the International Day of Peace is “Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world”.
In the face of the pandemic, as we move towards recovery and healing, we invite you to join leaders from faith and non-faith backgrounds and come together, in unity, to light a candle for peace. This half hour peace-filled event, including a gentle guided meditation and messages of hope, will celebrate and reinforce compassion, resilience, courage and hope within the community.
We hope that you are able to join us and make your own dedicated contribution to peace - and all that it brings for us all - on this universal day of peace.
Light Your Own Candle at the Event
You'll be invited to have a candle ready to light it as part of the meditation - so please keep one ready!
