The LGBTIQ+ sector is one of the most underfunded in Australia and this GiveOUT Day we hope to harness the power of a national fundraising campaign to raise funds that will help us continue our work.
Participate in GiveOUT Day 2021 to raise money to bring our community together.
If this pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that we need each other more than ever, and we need opportunities and spaces to meet, gather, learn and connect.
The Equality Project has set a lofty target this year, and we need your help to reach it!
Reasons to Donate
- We're working hard to connect LGBTIQ+ communities in 2021 and beyond. Better Together 2021, brought over 620 LGBTIQ+ people together, including 30 First Nations LGBTIQ+ people and we’re hoping to increase that number in 2022 when the Better Together 2022 Conference will be held in Far North Queensland in June.
- We're really proud that this year, we were able to cover the cost of partial and full registration for nearly 300 attendees at the conference.
- We want to bring together as many of our LGBTIQ+ First Nations people as possible and to do that, we need to fundraise $60,000 towards travel costs.
- We're a tax-deductible charity. You can donate to our GiveOUT Day Campaign today or on 15th October 2021.
- Your donation will be doubled by GiveOUT and their sponsors.
We understand that this is a very difficult time for many people right now, but if you are in a position to donate money to our GiveOUT Day Campaign, we’d really appreciate your support.
We're really looking forward to continuing our work and to seeing you at one of our events.
In the meantime, please take care of yourselves and each other.
