The First Nations grassroots collective led by DJ Kirra, funded by hundreds of Chuffed donors has stepped up to provide homes, food, and trusted care to re-connect Elders and families with communities.
One Aunty recently told DJ on the phone: "I used to teach the young ones how to weave and sing back home. I loved it. Because of a violent relationship I had to move to Cairns and am now on the street. I hope I can get a house soon."
Can you chip in today to house an Elder like her tonight?
This upcoming NAIDOC week is "For our Elders," celebrating the cultural knowledge holders, trailblazers and survivors from the oldest living culture in the world.
Let's show DJ and these incredible Elders some love this NAIDOC week 🖤💛❤️
