For anyone wishing to run their own café with big dreams and a small budget, Nayran is looking for a partner to run the café on Tuesdays to Fridays. She is willing to provide support and mentoring. WARMING | Up your Winter with some warm food & hospitality
Nayran Tabiei from Flavours of Syria cafe also operates a superb catering business for all types of meals; dinner parties, weddings, birthdays, you name it! Her menus can start with a range of mezze dips, followed by rice, meat and/or vegetarian dishes and some indulgent Syrian sweets. she can create or modify each catering menu to suit all dietary requirements.

HIRING | Community Language Storytellers x 4
Are you a Storyteller? It's story time. Space2b are looking for FOUR story time presenters in each of the following languages: Hindi, Arabic, Mandarin, Amharic.
The positions are on a casual basis and will be for 20 story time sessions per year. The location, timing and days will be determined by the community needs.
Applicants must have basic communication in English.
Training and support is included for the right applicant. People who live, play or have a connection to PORT PHILLIP are encouraged to apply.
We are seeking
a creative, energetic, vivacious, storyteller who loves working with kids in an engaging way. You need to be organised, motivated, self-directed, and comfortable working in a dynamic work environment and dealing with a diverse cultural community. You will be delivering engaging story time sessions with pre-schoolers (babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and their carers) in your community language.

CREATING | Space2b's Mural Floor Painting
Anis is a famous Chilean mural and graffiti artist now living in Melbourne. Her work is linked to human causes, gender equality, environmental issues and women as a factor of struggle in our current society. Anis will be working with some Space2b artists this weekend to produce a floor mural out the front of Space2b on Chapel Street.

COLLABORATING | Business Design Program
Space2b are excited to be partnering with Wyndham Park Community Centre on a business design programme. Working in collaboration with some incredibly creative Karen artisans, from Myanmar. We are well under way with the workshops, sharing and learning from one another. The participants are working towards designing and making an exciting range of goods/products that will be for sale in the Space2b shop during the month of June.

Say hello to our NEW volunteer, Angela!
Angela comes with a breath of experience and wonderful energy! She's a yoga practitioner, ESL teacher and a trained nurse. She also taught English in a remote Mongolian village. She will be joining the us on Wednesdays and some Saturdays to support the retail shop.
