COMMITTED | To continuing to create opportunities to address gaps and deepen conversations in cultural responsiveness.
We’re already halfway through the year and there is much to celebrate.
We are joined this year by Thomas Nguyen, our Psychiatry Registrar. Thomas has contributed to a number of projects that enhance our practice. Along with our Consultant Psychiatrist Justin Kuay, Thomas attended the Chief Psychiatrist Quality and Safety Forum in March.
Our online learning hub has been redesigned and relaunched with a more intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface.
We have also updated two of our modules, Cultural Diversity & Assessment and Approaching Work with Interpreters in Mental Health Settings, with some of the latest frameworks and research.
And we’re happy to announce the launch of a new module: Introduction to Community Engagement in Mental Health. The new module considers what taking a community focus could look like in mental health, highlights histories of community care, and explores what is meant by the notion of community.
Listening to multiple narratives and experiences enriches our work every day. We genuinely thank all those who work with us and we are excited to continue our work together.
