INCGD | What can we do about violence against women in the community? | Thursday 26 November 2015 | 9am-3pm

A discussion andopportunity for women to tell their stories about public violence against women, overcoming feelings of isolation, vulnerability and disengagement as well as perceptions of safety will seek to break down some of the concerns and barriers experienced by women of diverse backgrounds.

Where: Council Chamber and Formal Meeting Room: 225 Lonsdale Street, Dandenong

This workshop in the City of Greater Dandenong will discuss public safety for ALL women in the community. It is being conducted as a collaborative project between the City of Greater Dandenong, the Interfaith Network of the City of Greater Dandenong, Uniting Church, Victoria Police, Women’s Health in the South East (WHISE) among other partners.
