Multiculturalism enhances diversity of skills and knowledge we bring to our work, enriching cultural life of our cities and towns. It also helps foster acceptance and understanding of one another, and promotes a spirit of sharing and celebration that supports our Victorian values.Victoria’s Multicultural Awards for Excellence recognise individuals and organisations that promote cross-cultural understanding, support new migrants and refugees, celebrate diversity, and enhance social cohesion. The award categories cover a range of sectors including business, education, volunteering, media and government.
