Planning is now underway for an expanded St Kilda Peace Festival to stay connected this year and coincide with the Summer Solstice, on Sunday 20th December 2020.
Also being planned is holding a VISIONARY PEACE ART EXHIBITION and preparing an online gallery for it.
The theme for the art exhibition is 'Visionary Peace'. Connecting together, artists will break down barriers exploring their visionary notions of what their creativity, spirituality and inner feelings are in relationship to this new world of peace we are being prepared for right now.
Organisers are putting in a grant application collaborating and connecting with other community arts groups and individuals to join us.
How artists can get involved
- Immediately: Support letters from artists who want to be part of the online art exhibition needed for grant application. Attach a covering letter quoting how much you would like to be paid, with a brief description of how you would like to participate: ie, holding workshops, zoom healing arts classes before and/or at the festival on the Sunday 20th December 2020.
- Then: prepare your work and be involved in whatever way you wish.
- If you have other ideas to contribute please let us know.
