Best wishes for Less Suffering, More Happiness with Good Health and Time to Enjoy it. Welcome to Bahá'í calendar year 179–180.

Sharing a timely aspiration:
"Life is a hard battle anyway. If we laugh and sing a little as we fight the good fight of freedom, it makes it all go easier. I will not allow my life's light to be determined by the darkness around me."
Sojourner Truth, American abolitionist and activist for African-American civil rights, women's rights, and alcohol temperance (died 1883 CE)

If having no reason to celebrate this month, here are 3 prepared earlier:

For those continuing on in this Re:call Edition, Grabbers have been exploring life as compounded information, living as processing information and death as not really an enduring cessation but information's temporary transition from one state to another. Those who have longer, healthier and happier lives are simply more skilful users of processing, applying and transitioning information.

One of the power tools to process information is language.

This edition we explore the topic of language.
From Middle English via French from Latin lingua = tongue.

Language is an Impermanent (always-changing) compound of 'symbols, direction and meanings'. It is a Skilful Tool that can be used Mindfully to reduce or End Suffering, or it can be used Unmindfully to cause or increase Suffering. There are many ways to process language, 3rx is another one.

3. For example, think of a closed book on a shelf (collection of symbols). Of limited usefulness until someone reaches for it (direction). This is of limited use unless the recipient treats it well, understands the language it is written in, reads it and understands the contents (meaning). In the opposite direction, the book (collection of symbols) is the result of a reason to collect (meaning) by a collector (authored direction).

r. Language can be used for countless reasons, here we focus on demystifying the way the world really is, explore Suffering, its Causes and Antidotes and bringing people together. Well, at least that is the intention of Mindful authoring individuals, the actual result is a shared effort, the responsibility of those with surplus, for the benefit of the individual increasing in beneficiaries until it includes all.

x. To minimize Suffering, it is always useful to stay with the last concept that makes sense, test vigorously for your own circumstances before adopting, be your own guiding light (keep the intent while changing the language to suit the current audience) and when surpluses arise, share with others.

Oh, and as this email is from this teacher, watch out for the thing forgotten, omitted or distorted. Forgive the many words, thankyou for the patience.

Time for a musical interlude?

      Caretaker Disclosure
Words and concepts are conditional things that point to a 'reflection of experience'. They are limited and do not adequately describe the 'full lived experience'. Like the moon's reflection on a lake's surface, it is not the moon, nor the experience of gazing up at the darkened sky transformed by the presence of a full moon. It is in the eyes/ears/nose/mouth/touch/cognisance of the beholder.

This curation is an interpretation of the universal basis of re:lig:ion (Latin = again:uniting:energy) or bodhicitta (Sanskrit = Awakening Consciousness). This email invites a sharing of countless thoughts, words and actions wishing, causing and receiving less Suffering and more Happiness. For benefit initially of the individual increasing in beneficiaries until it includes all across the 3 times and 10 directions. Or not. As each case may be.

It is not personal, it just the way things are.
