BAHO | RAISING | Support and Donations for Arts Hub Appeal | open now, closing Tuesday 22 June 2021

[Edited extract from public address]

In 2021, Bayley House will launch its Arts Hub – a stand-alone premises offering creative and therapeutic art activities for people with disability.

By making a donation of $50 to our appeal on, or before, 22 June will be TRIPLED up to $200,000 by generous matchers.

Our goals?
  • To offer more art programs and art therapy to more artists with disability
  • To connect our artists to the community through frequent exhibitions, community classes and corporate team building days
  • To really expand Art Therapy – therapeutic-based programs that use creative arts to improve the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of people with disabilities and their families
  • To create career pathways for people with disability who are passionate about art
  • To advocate for our artists, giving them the confidence and skills to develop, share, display and sell their art
The Arts Hub will be a fully accessible space, with specialist equipment to meet individual needs, staffed by our trained art instructors and art therapists and supported by our wonderful art volunteers. The space will make our artists feel secure and valued. It will be a place where they can connect with friends, old and new.

At maximum capacity, the Arts Hub will deliver 1,500 participant hours each week (including after-hours programs) to people with disabilities, the community and corporate visitors.

When you donate to the Art for All appeal, you are helping to build the confidence and skills of our artists. You are connecting them to mentors, new friends and the community. You are providing the equipment and support artists with disabilities need to flourish and achieve their aspirations.
