CUIN | WEBINAR | Quincy talks to people smarter than him: Wanah Bumakor | 27 April 2023 | 10–11am AEST

[Edited extract from public address]

The first webinar in a  series by Cultural Attaché Quincy Hall, speaking with Wanah Bumakor, Cultural Ambassador for Diversity Atlas, about Wanah's upcoming paper titled 'From Pitfall to Business Opportunity', which discusses ethnic diversity in Africa.

In his article, Wanah describes the fact that despite the devastating effects of colonisation on Africa's ethnic diversity, reinvention can be possible. It is possible to relearn the appropriate attitudes towards others in order to establish a society where everyone feels like they belong. Through successful management of cultural diversity, companies in Africa could contribute immensely to political stability, economic prosperity and peaceful societies. Quincy and Wanah describe all this and more in an hour long discussion.

The webinar will take place via Zoom on April 27th between 10AM - 11AM AEST. You can access the live Zoom link below or watch the recording on our YouTube channel once it becomes available.
